Writer, Producer, Director - LESLIE ZEMECKIS
Leslie Zemeckis is an actress, author and award-winning documentarian. She has acted opposite Tom Hanks, Michael Madsen, Anthony Hopkins and Colin Firth. Zemeckis wrote, produced and directed the critically acclaimed documentary BEHIND THE BURLY Q the true story of old-time burlesque, which aired on Showtime and BskyB in the UK, was featured in The New Yorker and USA Today, and heralded as the definitive history of burlesque. Her second book GODDESS OF LOVE INCARNATE, the story of iconic burlesque stripper Lili St. Cyr, has garnered interest in film and Broadway for adaption. Published in the Fall of 2015, it was a Vanity Fair Hot Reads pick as well as the Los Angeles Times Top Christmas Reads. Her second film is the award-winning BOUND BY FLESH, about vaudeville superstars Daisy and Violet Hilton and debuted at #5 on Netflix. MABEL, MABEL, TIGER TRAINER is Zemeckis’ third documentary, and debuted at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival in February 2017.
Narration - MELISSA LEO
Melissa Leo lends her voice to the narration and in portraying Mabel Stark in the reading of some of Stark’s written journals and works. Leo is an Academy Award winning actress for her work in THE FIGHTER. Her past work has included roles in SNOWDEN, THE BIG SHORT, THE EVER AFTER and OBLIVION. She has also appeared on television in TREME, LAW & ORDER, and the mini-series MILDRED PIRECE.
Producer - ROBERT ZEMECKIS
A whiz-kid with special effects, Robert is from the Spielberg camp of film-making. Usually working with writing partner Bob Gale, Robert's earlier films like ROMANCING THE STONE (1984) show he has a talent for zany comedy, and special effects in WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT (1988) and BACK TO THE FUTURE (1985). Zemeckis’ profile as a director grew with the success of films such as BACK TO THE FUTURE I, II, and III, and 1994's film FORREST GUMP, for which he won the Academy Award for Best Director. His more recent films include THE POLAR EXPRESS (2004), BEOWULF (2007), ALLIED (2016), and the upcoming THE WOMEN OF MARWEN (2018).
Producer - SHERI HELLARD
Sheri Hellard began her producing and directing career in 2000 with the award-winning short film JACK & JILL. Her feature film directorial debut, MOTHERS AND DAUGHTERS (2006) starred Sally Kirkland and Tom Bosley. In 2006 Sheri directed the mockumentary STAAR: SHE’D RATHER BE A MISTRESS, and in 2008 shot the 20-episode web series SPACE LIFT: FENG SHUI YOUR HOME. Sheri co-produced and lensed the documentary BEHIND THE BURLY-Q that was acquired by Showtime. In 2012 Sheri again teamed with Leslie and Robert Zemeckis for the documentary BOUND BY FLESH, which was acquired by IFC for Sundance Select and opened to rave reviews in theaters in June of 2014. It won numerous awards at film festivals including Best Documentary at the 2012 Hollywood Film Festival.
Producer - JACKIE LEVINE
Jackie Levine is a producer, and the Executive VP of Creative Affairs at ImageMovers. Overseeing all development on feature films to be directed by Robert Zemeckis, Levine works with a variety of A-list filmmakers and writers, focused on finding and developing quality film and television projects. Prior to joining ImageMovers, Levine was a Senior VP of Production and Development at Walden Media, overseeing NARNIA 2 & 3, THE WATERHORSE, MR. MAGORIUMN’S WONDER EMPORIUM, and several more major productions. Levine’s recent work includes overseeing the development of multiple films and series for companies including Showtime.
Editor - EVAN FINN
After earning a graduate degree from USC's School of Cinematic art in 2001, Evan Finn has spent the last eight years as a motion picture editor primarily in feature documentary and reality TV formats. He has worked on shows of both critical and commercial success, including THE BACHELOR, EXTREME MAKEOVER HOME EDITION, and DANCING WITH THE STARS. Prior to BOUND BY FLESH, Finn worked with Leslie Zemeckis on BEHIND THE BURLY Q. His work on THE AMAZING RACE earned him four Emmy nominations and two wins for editing. Evan currently lives in Los Angeles with his incredible wife and three daughters.
Associate Producer - DONNALEE AUSTEN
Donnalee Austen began her film career working on commercials and music videos with directors including Ridley Scott, Michael Bay, Sofia Coppola and Paul Feig. After working as an Associate Producer for an Emmy nominated series, she joined the ImageMovers team to work on feature films. She produced the live show STAAR: SHE’D RATHER BE A MISTRESS starring Leslie Zemeckis, and recently she was the Associate Producer on BEHIND THE BURLY Q for Mistress Inc., a pictorial documentary on the complete history of Burlesque.
Composer - OLIVER SCHNEE
A Los Angeles native, Oliver Schnee’s true passion is found in putting music to picture. Determined to make a career in film scoring, he welcomes each new challenge that comes his way. Educated at the University of Southern California, he has been fortunate enough to have interned for such top professionals as James Newton Howard, John Powell, and Henry Jackman. Schnee has written music for the likes of Disney, American Express, and Participant Media.
Executive Music Producer – JOEL SILL
Joel Sill began his music career as a music publisher and record producer. He became involved with film as a soundtrack producer for EASY RIDER. He oversaw and helped design music for numerous films including REDS, 48 HOURS, AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN, THE COLOR PURPLE, TERMINATOR 3 and more. Sill is a partner in the royalty assurance and management company Music Revenue Data, and works as a consultant to Sony Computer Entertainment of America, and The Exclusive Media Film Group.

Kelton Jones is an actor, producer and cinematographer. Jones is best known for his work as a Producer in HOT GUYS WITH GUNS (2013) and DRY BLOOD (2016), and as a Cinematographer in FOO FIGHTERS: WHITE LIMO (2011) and ICEBERG SLIM: PORTRAIT OF A PIMP (2012).
