DIRECTOR: Thomas Huchon
Thomas Huchon is journalist and documentary filmmaker, based in Paris, France. As a specialist in digital media, he is one of few experts in fake news, conspiracy theories, and hoaxes. Prior to TRUMPING DEMOCRACY, Huchon directed the wildly successful film CONSPI HUNTER for Spicee, which created a fake narrative involving the CIA, Cuba and a coverup around a AIDS virus. Huchon released the film online, allowed it to grow, and then alerted on Spicee that the documentary was a fake. His goal, which he achieved, was to show how quickly and easily conspiracy theories and harmful ideas can be spread online in the modern era.

He was CEO of Havas Productions (2007- 2014), encompassing: News Agency (Upside), International Distribution, Cinema (Save Ferris), Brand Content Agency and the creation in 2012 of a Hub in Latam (Havas Makers). He received several awards in 2014 in the "Best Digital Activation" category (Eurobest, Crystal Festival, New York Internationalist) for Allende, an Assassinated Ideology.
In 2006 he won an Emmy Award for CULT (France 5) in the "Best Interactive Program" category, for which he was editor.

A TV journalist, he started his career at FRANCE 2, doing reports for the evening news and for one of the most famous broadcast in France: 'Complément d’enquête.'
He became Deputy Chief Editor in 2004. He was hired by M6, a large private French TV network, to create a new magazine television program, of which he became Editor in Chief and Producer. He led the famous program 'Capital' watched by 5 million people every week. In 2010, he created a new documentary program: 'Capital Terre'.
In 2013, he became managing director of M6. He left in 2014 to co-found Spicee.
Professor Michal Kosinski received his PhD in Psychology from the University of Cambridge (UK) in 2014, and spent a year as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Computer Science Department at Stanford University. Kosinski is the creator of the MyPersonality
app that led to the largest dataset of psychometric scores attached to Facebook profiles
